MBCERT aims to educate and prepare the community with the knowledge needed to act accordingly in the event of a disaster. We welcome you to join us in our efforts through the events we hosts and the resources that we offer. To become an MBCERT member, you must attend our training class. The Manhattan Beach Fire Department will cover the cost for those who live or work in Manhattan Beach. We ask that you send a check for $60.00 payable to MBCERT as a deposit to reserve your space in the class, along with your email address. The check will be returned to you on completion of the class. The deposit is non-refundable if you do not attend the class. For non-residents/workers, the cost is $60.00. Classes have a limited number of participants, who must be 18 years or older to attend.
